Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven individual to join USANA’s Taiwan finance team as an Accountant. In this position, you will assist the Finance Manager in the accounting cycle while exhibiting a sound working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
What You Will Do as USANA’s Accountant
Essential
- Reconcile daily cash and credit card sales, and follow discrepancy if any.
- Follow on pending sales payment and BOA account discrepancy.
- Process sales returns / exchange and review manual SVP adjustment requests by CS team.
- Responsible for Treasury management on account liquidity.
- Maintain petty cash on hand for coin change per CS’s request.
- Prepare AP wire payments via online banking.
- Responsible for the weekly commission payments and company account commission invoice check.
- Prepare commission reject re-send and court order payment requests.
- Process sales returns / exchange and review manual volume adjustment requests by CS team.
- Responsible for commission relate withholding tax and supplementary national health insurance filing.
- Responsible for month-end closing on commission process.
- Responsible for the bi-monthly VAT filing and reconciliation.
- Responsible for the annual product purchase and retirement report filing with the tax office.
- Responsible for fixed asset management and in charge on annual stock take and asset physical count.
- Assist Financial Audit and Income audit process, and responsible for commission and revenue reconciliation for income auditing propose.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

- Participate as a team player in team and cross functions.
- Perform other duties or ad hoc projects as assigned or needed.
Background and Skills You Will Need
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline.
- At least 4 years’ experience in Finance and Accounting.
- Multinational accounting firm experience is preferred, and with direct selling industry experience is plus.
- Able to be flexible and assist in daily accounting as required.
- Effective communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and results-oriented, have an ability to work autonomously, set and achieve aggressive goals and deadlines.
- Proficient in written English, spoken English is an advantage.
- Experience in a CPA firm is an advantage.
- Familiar with Oracle system is plus.
